The 2nd Annual brewCycle hosted by Exhibit 'A' Brewing Co. was a major success, which included more vendors and the fun Paint-A-Bike station by Amazing Things Arts Center. At the recent Crosstie Social night hosted by DFI at Depot 417, patrons participated in the Succulent Creation Station and the Make-a-Minion Station. It was a fun evening of games and Framingham trivia, too.
RR6 Kitchen & Bar recently had its eye-catching bracket sign installed. DFI facilitated the City's Sign and Facade Subsidy program, which helped this small business afford a great sign!
Elton Sanger, son of DFI Public Policy Intern Richard Sanger, discovers his love of painting while volunteering to spruce up the Pearl Street Parking Garage. DFI was excited to partner with the City's Facilities Department to make this amenity vibrant and welcoming for our downtown visitors.
DFI was thrilled to bring the official band of the Boston Red Sox to downtown Framingham. The Hot Tamale Band ignited the crowd's energy all along the route. Thank you to Don Cavicchi of Vineyard Home and Cav Audio / Video Design for giving our team a lift!
State Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis helps a friend with our Amsden Building storefront matching contest at this year's MetroFest, which many patrons easily crushed! We also had a bag toss game, which really attracted the kids!
A couple tourists from Illinois with hard-to-fit feet were thrilled to receive full shoe-sizing service and selection assistance at downtown's Panza Shoes. They also got a chance to read the South Side Free Press and do some window shopping!

World Cup fans celebrated another victory in our pedestrian friendly urban core. Whether on foot, bicycle, or car, everyone had a safe, jubilant experience.

DFI is hosting #Plot48 at the Pratt Street Community Garden, which is overseen by community leader Maria Martinez. We've received maintenance support and resources from community volunteers, Bridges Together, Inc. and Sudbury Valley Trustees. DFI coordinated measuring 65 plots with Bose volunteers in May.
St. Stephen's Church recently held its annual summer carnival. The multi-day event stimulated excitement and laughter, transforming a parking lot into a vibrant, colorful arena to cherish family memories.

n + 1 cyclery celebrated four years of business success in downtown Framingham on July 1. On August 12, n + 1 cyclery is hosting The New England Vintage Bicycle Show & Swap Meet, 2018 at Exhibit 'A' Brewing Co.
Construction workers forge ahead on the Alta Union House residential development in all weather conditions. The mixed-use development is slated to open in Fall 2019. Construction of Modera Framingham is also underway at 266 Waverly Street.

Springdale recently hosted the Ritzy Redneck Prom. Attendees were treated to a night of fun with dancing, food, and the appropriate ambiance. Owner Sam even got a chance to relive his prom! Proceeds supported the Jack's Abby MS Bike Team.
Exhibit 'A' Brewing Co. hosted its first Demo Tape Fest with lead sponsorship from Avidia Bank. The all-day music festival featured special edition Demo Tape beer. Proceeds helped support the Rise Above Foundation. The Natick School of Rock also entertained the crowd and is partnering with the Rise Above Foundation to provide music lessons for a foster child.
